The tour band is:
Lead vocals and guitar: Thomas Dutton
Vocals and guitar: Andrew Jeffrey Jakober
Vocals, guitar and keyboards: Jenni Potts
Bass and backup vocals: David Larkins (known in FBR circles as David Kalani ::shrug::)
Keyboards: Zack Olson (thanks cue_thesun for the spelling correction and link!)
Drums: Jaron Johnson
Thomas was really nice and so were the members of his band that I talked to - Andrew (some called him AJ) and David were especially awesome, as was Lizzie Huffman. I only talked to Zack briefly. I didn't meet Jaron or Jenni. Andrew really enjoys talking to the fans, and with me, David was very talkative too. Lizzie is just a total sweetheart. Thomas, I've decided, is just the quiet, slightly shy, serious type. But he'll sign autographs and take pictures with fans (as seen below) and thank you for coming to the show and all that. Really a decent guy.
The Missing Piece
Life Is Looking Up
The Spider And The Lamps
Meet The King
The End And The Beginning
They'd love to do the entire album straight through, but they simply aren't allotted enough stage time for that. Hopefully the album will sell well and they'll be able to perform the whole thing on a future tour. They don't perform any older Forgive Durden songs.
I did get answers to a few of our questions - not nearly all of them, but a few good ones. The answers will definitely surprise you.
I was lucky enough to see and hear Lizzie Huffman perform "The Missing Piece" with Thomas. I also talked to her a bit and got her autograph. She's adorable and sweet and I'm in love with her voice.
For anyone going to the Seattle show
Me with Thomas Dutton
P.S. - Paul Dutton - I know you're lurking! Come out come out wherever you are! :-D
